Day 1Dehradun to Pantwari (Drive) and Trek to Nag Tibba Base Camp

Time: 3 Hours

Day 1 of the trek begins with a drive from Dehradun to Pantwari, which is located at the foothills of the Jaunpur Range in Uttarakhand. The drive is about 4 hours long and offers stunning views of the mountains along the way.

Once you reach Pantwari, it’s time to begin your trek! The trail starts off with a steep incline but gradually softens as you make your way up. You’ll pass through lush green forests that are full of diverse flora and fauna, making it a great spot for bird-watching. As you continue on, you’ll be able to take in breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, making this one of the most scenic treks in India.

After about 3-4 hours of trekking, you’ll reach Nag Tibba Base Camp where you can set up camp and enjoy some rest before continuing on your journey tomorrow. Here, you can take in views of majestic mountains all around and even catch glimpses of wildlife!

Day 2Nag Tibba Base Camp to Nag Tibba Summit & back to Base Camp

Day 2 of the Nag Tibba Trek is an exciting and challenging experience for trekkers. Starting from the Nag Tibba Base Camp, you will ascend to the summit of Nag Tibba, which stands at an elevation of 3022 meters. Once you reach the summit, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Himalayan range and lush green valleys below.

The trek back down to the base camp is equally rewarding, as you will witness spectacular sunsets on your way back. The best time to visit the Nag Tibba trek depends on what kind of experience you are looking for. The temperature during this period ranges from -5°C to 15°C, making it perfect for trekking. You can also witness some stunning sunsets and sunrises during these months.
