The Gulabi Kantha Trek is a unique and offbeat trek located at an elevation of 12,000 feet above sea level. This trek is situated on the other side of the popular Dodital freshwater lake trek. There are several lush meadows surrounding this unexplored trek.

Gulabi Kantha Trek is named so because it is dotted with blooming pink Rhododendron flowers. The region is not only abundant in these vibrant wildflowers but also deodar and Oak trees. This makes it a perfect home for diverse flora and fauna. It offers the trekkers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the splendour of nature.

As the snow begins to build up on the Gulabi Kantha trekking trail, the difficulty of the trek increases, making it more challenging for beginners and experienced trekkers alike. However, people with prior experience can still find this an enjoyable winter trek.

Recently inspected by the Indo-Tibetan border police force, it has been determined that the Gulabi Kantha Trek has the potential to be developed for winter sports such as snow skiing and snowboarding.

With the potential for breathtaking 360-degree views of the Kalindi Sirkala, Bandarpoonch peak, Chaukhamba peaks and Shivalik mountains, the Gulabi Kantha Trek is an increasingly popular destination for adrenaline junkies and nature enthusiasts alike.
